SALES PROFESSIONAL

Infrastructure investment has been identified as a national priority, and the Martech team is well positioned to participate in the anticipated surge of new and retrofit construction. Martech offers three professional sales teams, representing and distributing for innovative manufacturers into targeted markets.

We thrive on introducing fresh concepts and new names in each of our distinct sector groups. The year 2009 marks our 20th anniversary in Western Canada. Today, we are seeking to add a new pro to our Infrastructure sales team.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the successful candidate will drive new business potential in Vancouver Island and the lower mainland. Our current line card can be reviewed here.

RESPONSIBILITY PROFILE:

  • TRAILBLAZING – Your daily activities will include the introduction of new design concepts, new product related solution presentations and developing distribution partnerships. This is a great fit for those who thrive on change.
  • BUILD SPECIFICATION SUPPORT – Demonstrate your presentation talent in the boardroom to develop specification support with utilities and consulting engineers. Use your strong written skills, polished oral arguments and relational flexibility to influence decisions as well as educate and provide field support.
  • PLAN AND EXECUTE – Collaborate with your Martech team to build a strategic plan. Track your intentions, accomplishments, and opportunities towards plan fulfillment in the systems and hardware provided.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this organized and thorough person will be responsible for the following:

SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally, the selected individual will understand this marketplace through industry training and/or experience.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your capability to learn and communicate concepts and technical points alike.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your fluency in written composition, discussion, and competence with Microsoft Office.
  • You will provide a vehicle and expect to be traveling approximately 35% carrying out your sales tasks.
