Martech began in 1988 as a sales agency representing several manufacturers. Martech's original running gun was Marv Verlage, selling electrical and lighting products into the construction industry. Later joined by Ray Verlage, Martech took on several municipal product lines and expanded to Calgary in 1996.

Today Martech has offices all across Western Canada and is ready to expand eastward into Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
